Movie Licensing

Copyright Management

By respecting copyright licensing laws, Outdoor Events Australia and its customers help support outdoor cinema entertainment now and into the future. If you or your exhibitor do not pay for a licence, Really Nasty Stuff  happens to you. Public movies (i.e. not in your home) must be licenced.

For more information about movie Copyright, we refer you to this site.

Explanation of  Copyright.

Arranging Your Movie Licence

Now for the good news!

The good  news is that we handle licensing for you (unless you love getting into the detail and paperwork involved, in which case we are sorry for you.)

When you tell us what movie you want, we will get a quote for your licence.

Once your night is booked, we ensure the required administration is completed, and pay your licence on your behalf.

Relax, and enjoy your show.

Music Copyright

More good news! Performance of  music in  public also requires a licence. But, no worries.

The use of Outdoor Event's APRA licence is included in our service, and will cover you for the licensing required for music played at your event.
